Biography
Matt Peters completed his PhD part-time whilst in senior accounting roles in blue-chip and multi-national firms. Matt has over ten years experience in a variety of industries, including: retail; pharmaceutical; computers; insurance; university; private equity and healthcare. Matt’s experience includes strategy management in major change program management, finance transformation and IT project management, M&A transaction execution, group financial control, and budgeting and forecasting system re-design. Before his accounting career, Matt started and sold two successful small manufacturing and construction businesses.
Matt’s research has focused on successful strategic management accounting capabilities in large firms.
Matt’s consulting skill set is in best practice budgeting, forecasting and reporting systems, and also in financial management of major change programs.
Matt and his young family enjoy living on the Northern Beaches of Sydney.
