The first issue of The Journal of Project, Program and Portfolio Management is to be published by UTS ePress in 2010.

The issue's theme will be Program Management, with UTS Visiting Professor Michel Thiry its Special Guest Editor.

The concept of the journal was developed by Master of Project Management student Sasha Kovac with Dr Shankar Sankaran as the project sponsor.

The project was carried out in the subject called Project Management Practicum taught by Chivonne Watt and Ross Trembath in Autumn 2009.

The Journal of Project, Program and Portfolio Management will be launched at the Australian project management conference PMoz , held in Canberra between August 10 - 12.
