Master of Animation student Anna Spencer's graduation film, Barn Owl, has been selected for competition at the Annecy International Animation Festival. Annecy is regarded as the top animation festival internationally. Based on a poem by Gwen Harwood, Barn Owl is beautifully realised using a paint on glass animation technique. Barn Owl is the only Australian short fiction film selected for competition at Annecy 2012.
