Susan Sherringham has lead a successful cross faculty, cross institutional team, in applying for an ALTC ( Carrick) Priority Projects Grant.
The project evolved out of Susan's work as Chair of the University Learning and Teaching Spaces project.
The $220,000 grant will fund a two year project A protocol for developing curriculum led human-centred next generation learning environments in higher education.
This project will develop, through a soft systems approach, a process for designing and evaluating next generation learning spaces.
Others from the School of Design involved in the application were Dr Susan Stewart and Dr Louise McWhinnie.
The team also includes UTS members from IML, Engineering, Nursing and the Library - with cross institutional members from Melbourne University, Monash and UNSW.
