Industrial Design participates in World Design Summer Camp, Hong Kong

UTS Industrial Design was one of 20 University design programs selected to participate in the World Design Summer Camp, organised by the Hong Kong Design Centre in conjunction with Hong Kong Polytechnic University, and the Hong Kong Design Institute.

Roderick Walden and three undergraduate students attended the 10-day camp where they worked on design projects collectively themed "A City Driven by Design;" a program developed to encourage cultural and knowledge exchange on social, economic and environmental topics related to Hong Kong.

The ID Program was awarded US$4000 for participating in the event and many exciting connections with Universities in the East Asia Region were established.
