Dr. Vasilije Kokotovich from the School of Design has won the Design Studies Award 2008 for his paper in Design Studies issue 29/1.

The prestigious award is announced jointly by Elsevier Science Ltd
and the Design Research Society, for the best paper published each year.

The award's criteria includes: contribution to the development of the field of design research, originality of research or scholarship, breadth of relevance, and clarity and style of presentation.

Design Studies is seen as one of the leading international journals in the area of Design research with an ISI impact rating of 1.017.
