Aanya studied design at the University of South Australia and fine art at the Adelaide Centre for the ARTS. She has combined experience as an artist, designer, curator, researcher, educator, project manager and gallery director.
Her architectural glass designs are housed at the Museum of South Australia, The University of Adelaide, Adelaide International Townhouse, Tanunda primary school and Telstra offices (SA). She has curated exhibitions at RMIT gallery (VIC), Light Square Gallery (SA), Horus and Deloris (NSW), Project Contemporary Artspace (Wollongong) alongside the nine exhibitions curated annually at DAB LAB research gallery.
In addition to directing DAB LAB research gallery, Aanya develops multicultural art programs and projects for at risk communities in the Illawarra through funding from Arts NSW.
