Participative and restorative practice in schools forum

This forum is hosted by the Faculty of Law.

The forum is the final stage of a research project undertaken with selected schools which incorporate student participative and restorative practice in their school communities.

The research project included observations and interviews with students, teachers and parents.

The aim of this forum is in part to discuss the research but primarily to provide a forum for discussion between the research participants, educators, and others with an interest in restorative practices in education.

The forum will be led by a panel with particular experience in the implementation of a variety of these practices in schools.

This will be followed by an open discussion, which will continue over lunch.

Morning tea and lunch will be provided.
