3 Minute Thesis

The 3 Minute Thesis is a competition where research students discuss their thesis topic in a short oral presentation using a single PowerPoint presentation slide.

Competitors present to the audience the need for their research, what they are doing, how they are doing it and where it fits in to real life experience, in language that is comprehensible by an intelligent, but non-specialist audience.

The two best presenters will represent FASS at the UTS-wide competition in September. The UTS winner will represent the university at the national competition.
