Research exhibition: Touch Too

Touch Too examines the notion of touch and how it affects our lives and our sense of ourselves. The exhibition explores touch through the prism of a range of human senses, with works including:

  • Twenty121’s Fauxy the Fake Fur with Feelings, a faux fur coat with sensors that reacts to the approach of others by ruffling its feather collar
  • Stefan Popescu’s films and DVDs that explore the ways in which we are positioned by media technologies to take part in a virtual experience
  • David Chapman and Adrian Palka’s DVD about the fundamental tactility of sound
  • Paintings by Gerd Schmid and Meredith Brice that explore our visual perception of texture.
