Mu was enrolled in and completed the Master of Information Technology. Mu was also a recipient of the Dean's ACS Foundation Scholarship.

"The excellent reputation of the tertiary education system was my main motivation for choosing to study in Australia. The added benefits were being able to improve my English and to travel and experience such a beautiful and scenic country.

When I started to research Australian universities I found many good reviews about UTS that stated it was one of the most practical universities and excellent for studying IT. I was also attracted to living in a big international city, such as Sydney, and as UTS is located in the central business district that was perfect for me. So I applied for the Master of Information Technology (MIT) and received an offer to enrol.

UTS:IT is very strong in the area of networking and they are a Cisco Regional Academy - this means that Cisco Systems supplies the equipment and resources for teaching many of the networking subjects. The facilities at UTS:IT are fantastic and the teaching is very practical. You don't just learn the theory at UTS.

My course was very challenging and rewarding and I was lucky to take advantage of many opportunities that UTS offered. I was very happy to be awarded the prestigious Cisco Learning Institute Panduit Excellence Scholarship towards tuition in CCNA Discovery and CCNA Exploration courses. I want to work in a networking related role.

Since moving to Sydney I have also worked as a volunteer computer tutor for Strathfield Council helping to teach senior citizens how to use computers. I enjoy giving something back to the community and have also continued to develop my communication skills along the way."
