July and August have been busy months for the Broadway Building project team, with demolition works about to commence.
The team has also been working on a noise and vibration strategy to make Building 10 a safe working and learning environment throughout the entire construction phase, including demolition and excavation. This strategy will be in place by the time excavation starts. We will be able to present the strategy to stakeholders in September.
In the latest news, UTS has just appointed Cardinal Project Services as the demolition contractor for the project. Over the next few weeks, workers will start preparing existing buildings for demolition.
