Radio interview with Michelle Zeibots about reducing dependence on oil

Glover talks about President Obama being on a war path against what he keeps calling 'British Petroleum". Glover says BP is not normally called 'British Petroleum' but Obama wants to emphasise the British responsibility for the oil spill. Glover says Obama is also urging Americans to reduce their dependence on oil. Glover wonders how possible it is for nations like Australia and the US to reduce their dependence on oil. Dr Michelle Zeibots is the Transport Planner and academic researcher at the Institute for Sustainable futures at UTS and she joins Glover to discuss.
