A 'Ministry of Food' could be created to address the dwindling phosphate levels throughout Australian soils, according to an influential group of industry experts.
The ministry would 'holistically' look at Australian health, food, diet and obesity in order to change food production to cut phosphorus inefficiencies in the system, a workshop hosted by the Institute for Sustainable Futures at the University of Technology Sydney found.
