Advisory Day - 6 Jan

Starting university is a very exciting step in your life. When the UAI's are released your options may change and it sometimes can be hard to know which is the right path to choose. At UTS we want you to feel comfortable and well informed about the choices available to you and invite you to come along to Advisory Day.

Advisory Day is an information event designed specifically to provide you with the answers to all your questions. You'll be able to talk to current UTS students, staff and careers counsellors so you know all the options available to you before you lock in your preferences. Come along with your parents or friends and ask all the questions you can think of so you know you're on the right path.

Advisory Day is your last chance to visit UTS before final preferences are due at midnight on Wednesday 7 January 2009, it also gives you a great opportunity to discover all the extras that make student life at UTS special. Computers will available on the day if you wish to change your preferences while the information is fresh.

UTS:LAW will have a special booth where you can sit down and chat to professional staff about:

- How our modern law curriculum prepares you for a global career in the 21st Century.

- The option to undertake practical legal training within your law degree so you are ready to practice one semester ahead of most other law graduates and with no additional fees.

- Innovative community-based assessment options and how embedded graduate attributes within all law courses prepare you to thrive in a workplace that is more technologically dependent and rapidly changing than ever before.

- The advantages of combining your law degree with International Studies, Engineering, Information Technology, Business, Science/ Medical Science or a BA Communication specialising in Information and Media, Journalism, Media Arts and Production, Social Inquiry, Public Communication or Writing and Cultural Studies.
