2008 Autumn graduations saw a range of Faculty achievements recognised.
Over 450 UTS: Nursing, Midwifery and Health students graduated during the morning and afternoon Graduation Ceremonies on 23 April 2008. Amongst these were the first group of direct-entry midwives in NSW. Also receiving their testamurs were seventy postgraduate coursework students, three were awarded their Master of Nursing (Honours), three received their PhDs and one Doctor of Nursing was awarded.
During the Faculty's Graduate Certificate Ceremony and Prizegiving on 29 April, 180 graduate certificates were awarded. 16 prizes were also presented to undergraduate and postgraduate students and graduates for high achievement in theoretical course components and clinical performance.
The ever-increasing number of graduates is testimony to the quality of the education and experience provided by the Faculty to its students.
