Australian College of Midwives (NSW) Conference

Just some of the UTS family who were at the Conference

The Centre for Midwifery, Child and Family Health at UTS was again well represented at the recent Annual Conference of the Australian College of Midwives (NSW) which was held in beautiful Kiama on the NSW south coast in September 2008. Speakers from the Centre included Annabel Sheehy, Heike Roth, Jenny Fenwick and Louise Everitt. Joanne Gray is the current President of the Australian College of Midwives (NSW) she and Rachel Smith were part of the conference organising committee.

Other staff, higher degree research students and honorary appointees from the Centre also included Jane Raymond, Helen Cooke, Vanessa Clements, Bec Coddington, Cathy Adams, Christine Catling-Paull, Alison Cummins, and Caroline Homer. There was also a strong contingent of students from the UTS Master of Midwifery, Bachelor of Midwifery and Graduate Diploma of Midwifery courses.
