WHO Collaborating Centre for Nursing, Midwifery and Health Development established

UTS: Nursing, Midwifery and Health is pleased to announce that it has been designated a World Health Organization (WHO) Collaborating Centre, making it the first nursing and midwifery WHO Collaborating Centre in Australia.

The WHO Collaborating Centre for Nursing, Midwifery and Health Development forms part of an international collaborative network which supports and undertakes projects in support of the World Health Organization's programmes at national, regional and international levels.

During the rigorous four-year application process to achieve the formal designation of WHO Collaborating Centre, an array of projects have been completed and many are continuing.

The official launch of the WHO Collaborating Centre for Nursing, Midwifery and Health Development will be held on World Health Day - Monday 7 April 2008. If you would like further information about the launch, please contact us.
