Janine Bothe undertook a Doctor of Nursing. Her action research involved developing the model of nursing care for day surgery patients in her place of work. "I came to UTS to undertake further study as the Faculty of Nursing, Midwifery & Health has an excellent philosophy about nursing and education. My research studies have enabled me to promote nursing in my place of work and to critically look at the way in which our nurses practice. It has also enabled me to be part of a group of nurses with whom I’m proud to be involved". "My research supervisor is enthusiastic in my endeavours and her support has been unbelievable".
