Ultimo Science Festival

The Ultimo Science Festival is ten days of serious science fun for families, school group, for young, and old and in-between, for geeks and non-geeks. There’s something for anyone who wants to expand their mind, think about the world and wonder about how stuff works and why it is so.

The Festival is proudly presented by the Powerhouse Museum, the Australian Broadcasting Corporation, Ultimo TAFE and the University of Technology Sydney. It is supported by the Australian Government and the City of Sydney. The Festival will showcase the considerable scientific credentials of the four partner organisations, bringing together scientific research, technology, design, education, communication and entertainment.

Many events are free and held along Harris St, Ultimo. The festival events are an easy stroll from Central train station, buses and the light rail.
